Why not just use Calendly and Stripe?
You can — plenty of educators start there. CourseCove replaces the back-and-forth between separate tools: scheduling, payments, packages, and student records live in one place, so you're not reconciling a calendar against a spreadsheet against a payout report.
Is it really free?
Yes — Solo is free forever, with no subscription and no credit card to start. You pay only a small percentage of the payments you collect (starting at 1.5% and dropping as you grow). Add teachers later and Studio is $9 per teacher each month.
What does the take-rate actually cost me?
It starts at 1.5% of payments and drops as your monthly volume grows — down to 0.3% above $50,000. There's no monthly subscription on Solo, so if you collect nothing, you pay nothing. You can estimate your fee right on this page.
Do my students need to create an account?
No. Families book and pay on your public page and get a confirmation by email. There's no app to download and no account required to book.
Is my money and data safe with a new company?
Payments run through Stripe, and the account is yours — we never hold your funds. Your student data is yours too, and you can export it anytime. We don't sell it and we don't lock you in.
Do I have to move off my current tools first?
No. Start with a single lesson type — your booking page is live in minutes. Bring your students and the rest of your lessons across at your own pace.
